Remind people before they run out

Dear brand owner,

If you sell anything people use up, coffee, skincare, supplements, refills, you're sitting on one of the simplest repeat sales going. You just have to turn up at the right moment.

Yet most stores never send the reminder, and the customer drifts to whatever's easiest when they run low.

Getting the timing right

  • Estimate how long a typical purchase lasts
  • Send a gentle nudge shortly before it runs out
  • Make reordering a one-tap job, not a hunt
  • Offer subscribe-and-save for the ones who'd rather not think about it

The message isn't a hard sell. It's a helpful "running low?" at the moment it's genuinely useful.

The easiest repeat order is the one you remind someone to place the day before they'd have noticed themselves.

Small effort, steady return

A replenishment flow takes a little setup and then works quietly in the background, turning one-off buyers into regulars. For consumable products, it's close to free money left on the table.

Show up just before they run out, and you'll often be the one they reorder from.

Best,
